• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Those of you with a Stattama/3" DP...

id like to see how one pulls that off in a 97/98. the abs is bolted to the master, and the abs has 4 lines off it.

looks like this.

GM arranged that "generation" I guess you could call it, horribly. Air box gives less horsepower and everything is in places it doesn't need to be.

I keep imaging doing this on the '99-'03 engines, I've never first hand seen what your ABS set up looks like.

It's a 97. It doesnt have TCS. Even if it did it would be tuned out.

In that case, this is the only way I could possibly think of deleting your ABS. First, unbolt the ABS control unit from the master cylinder, plug the hole to the master, pull all the ABS lines. Not sure of they go right into the caliper or what, if they do, plug the holes in the caliper, and that's all I could think of. I'm not sure if it would be worth it. And don't follow this! I've never done this, this is the only way I could come up on how to do it.

youll need to find that setup off the 93/94+ bonnies/caddy's (they used the newer systems before the W did in 98ish) that have the remote mounted setup (thats the delco IV that has the gear falling off issue iirc)

early 4th gen F bodies as well, they are probably closer to what you need

from what i recall there was a 4 inlet and a 2 inlet system, both require the 2 or 4 port masters with threaded fittings (that system uses the O rings) and if its the 2 port youll need the inline rear brake proportioning valves or a jegs/wilwood/etc adjustable unit.

nicopp line is your friend so is a nice flaring tool.........

i vote putting that abs system in the same place as all a2w intercoolers...... in the fvcking trash can!!!! hahahaha!!

Edit 2nd option throw away 97 car keep turbo kit for different car. lololololololol!!

Edit again. 3rd option requires being a man and you get to keep stock booster and abs sh1t. turbo pipe through the hood like a boss who needs exhaust on a turbo car?

I went diggin through Alex's pics and found these couple. I talked to him probably about a year ago and he said he deleted the abs but in these couple pics the abs is still there. So maybe I'll be okay?

Option 4: Tyler buys all my turbo and engine stuff and I just don't do it?

you can take the Impala brake booster cut the lower two tabs that hold the bracket to the body and weld in a 3/16 chunk of steel and it will angle the whole assembly up over half an inch at the downpipe.
