Yeah I saw it before...there was actually a thread with a link posted to it somewhere around here..


The type of motor does not make a car hook up or not. The power has something to do with it, But still we have motors in these cars that are waay higher in hp than a stock ls1 hooking up just fine.

X2. The LS4 is the red-headed step child of the LSx family. They just made that engine for people looking at the list of features. They see "V8" and that's good enough for them. With how easily we do it, you can't tell me GM couldn't have made the supercharged 3800 over 300HP stock for cheaper than the damn LS4 took to develop.

the ls1 would probably be right arounnd the same weight due to its complete aluminum design but fabbing to get that to fit would be a nightmare...bet it sounds amazing though!!! i LOVE my LS1....
