• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

No sideways action?!

For a 4200# car they move. Were/are you on the SCCOA?

is it an original Canadian car as well? I always envied you guys because you didn't have to deal with the shoulder restraint coming back and hitting you in the face if you weren't careful.
I was SuperCB on SCCOA; been 5 years now since I was there. She was a genuine Canadian car, had DRL's and all. LOL

Pshshsh SC ain't got nothing on the TC...

Ok OP you want the rear come out a bit in a fwd car where you have minimal control over the rear of the car? That sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, I would buy a third gen camaro, they are slow enough to learn on, and handle the best out of the factory fbody's (5th gen is not an fbody and they are not affordable for the younger folk).

SC will take a TC any day......unless you do what my buddy did; performed his racecar magic to a TC motor and put it in his POS Ranger. He spanked my SC many a time, and when I drove it once, I spanked a lot of rice. LOL

Nope, TC is still much cooler, way better engine haha.

I am only giving you crap, both are great, I had a buddy with a TC in high school and we did a lot with that car, ran 20 lbs of boost, then upgraded turbos to a t3/t4 and ran 26lbs, it was fun with stock parts, then did the exhaust, ranger roller cam, upgraded injectors, and front mount intercooler, then put an 88 pcm in it. Later on switched to a MAF setup, knifed and gutted intakes, fuilly built heads, turbo cam 34 lbs of boost, and megasquirt.

I agree with the Kumho Ecsta's possibly being the best A/S tires. I have the LX Platinums and I have fantastic grip wet, snow, and dry. Sidewalls are very stiff and don't flex with hard cornering. I don't have much for body roll but I also have suspension mods. In the New England winter with deep snow, these tires are phenomenal. I can put the car where I want and don't slide at all. Never gonna need true snow tires since I have these.

All good. I like them both, and always keeping an eye out for a TC in good shape. Your buddy's rig sounds sweet.

Yeah we started when we could drive, well he could drive in 98, I could drive in 2000. His dad owned it first and we had worked on it for a while. He still has it, now it's a fully built motor, he wanted fastest manual 2.3 turbo coupe.
