I Have Changed My Gear In My 98 to a 3.29 Because My Friend Told Me That It Will Be Lighter On The Transmission With 22 Inches On It Whats My Next Step Do I Have To Get Pcm Reprogrammed? If So Where Is A Good Place To Get It Done Or Send The Computer Too
 


If you had the gear ratio changed without changing the PCM programming, it will eventually cause shifting issues and throw a code.

You actually tore open the side cover and replaced the chain and sprockets?

Well I Didnt My Mechanic Did And It Pulls Better And I Have A Better Highway Pull
 
You need to find someone who has a tuner or just buy a pcm with that already changed in it.
