Plug advice

So I finally ordered a grip of parts...
I'll be sitting at:
CAI
SD headers
1.9 rockers
all poly mounts
LIM
160 tstat
3.2 pulley
overkill canned PCM tune for aforementioned mods

Now, I know that the 3.2 might have been a rash choice, but I'm going to see if I can get it to work safely with everything else, if not, I'll go up from there based on how much KR im getting. That said, what plugs would you guys recommend? 103s?

Appreciate any input!

103's and a 160 are too cold. It's not like the old days were cooler is better, today's cars prefer temps above 180.

Go with a 180 and 104's or 605's Auto lite plugs.

3.2 might be at the max of the injectors, with a canned tune more than likely they will be. It will run it rich to save the motor really.

Hopefully you bought a wideband and some sort of scangauge to monitor these things aswell.

just get a 3.4 pulley. i had the same mods and had KR until it was tuned. 3.4 is the limit for most unless you add a a IC to the mod list, or e85

well, from the two forums (this one and montecarloforum.com) I've checked the mod-guide stickies to, and most of the pulley guides I've seen on the plethora of 3800 performance parts dealers, the 3.2 looked like a safe bet (and I am getting a PCM from overkill, it just wont be specifically tuned to this car for a bit).

I have a guy with a scanner that I will be checking for KR after everything's installed, but I'm probably going to get one of those setups where I can use my smartphone as a gauge, but that will probably after I upgrade my brakes and do some suspension stuff.

I just cant decide from what Im reading if I'm still in the 104 range, or if I should go for 103s, my assumption is Im closer to the 103 with this setup.

If, after everything is installed, I'm getting knock, I'll go ahead and spend the money on a larger pulley.

3.2 is a mistake.

What vendor says headers and 1.9 rockers equals a 3.2 pulley?

I guess I could say it a third time. I'm going to monitor it, as I have a guy with a scanner, and if I'm getting knock, I'll go up in pulley size.

That said, I've decided that I'm probably going to throw an IC on it, and use the smallest pulley I can without having to upgrade the TB, MAF, fuel system, or transmission. I already ordered an aeroforce and wideband a/f sensor kit.

Funny. You will make more HP with no KR. A 3.2 is going to have a ton of KR compared to a 3.4 pulley.

3.4 = more HP
3.2 = more boost but less HP

Truth.

A larger pulley car with a leaner AFR, no KR, and either stock or more timing...will win 99% of the time.

That other 1% of the time, you might get lucky...but it never ends well.
