05 PCM in an 06

Starting a new thread on this because I really want some solid info on it.

ZZP said that they would exchange my 06 PCM for an 05, but they did not answer my question about any problems encountered with it.

Intense told me that they have not done it and that from 05-06 the way the PCM communicates changed, so it may not work.

I've tried searching and I haven't really found anyone that's done this. I'm considering picking up a used 05 PCM and dropping it in to see what problems I encounter, but I'm a little afraid I'll cause permanent damage.

Any thoughts?

I have the SAME problem! I have heard from Will (at overkill) and other 06+ owners the only problem they have had is the fuel reads backwards. I also talked to ZZP and they said nothing about ANY problems...Will sent me a reply back and told me the problems that he came across. I take this as 1. ZZP didn't wanna tell me the problems,2. ZZP didn't know about the problems, or 3. ZZP never done a 05 PCM on a 06+. So...Thats what I got so far! But please keep me posted on what you find out!!!
