To answer the original question, I actually like them. Not crazy about them but don't hate them like most people. When they first came out I thought they were awesome. I was only 12 back then but still thought they were cool. Maybe that says something though haha

This has been discussed NUMEROUS times already, but axing Buick would have killed the rest of GM because Buick is a huge seller in China and one of the only things that kept GM afloat. Meanwhile Pontiac did nothing and was axed because it was the sensible thing to do.

You're right, it's the enthusiast in me that wishes the brand was still around.
 
I have a 2001 Aztek that I bought new. Working at a dealer at the time, I remember seeing the first one roll of the truck, and a few of us were talking about it and I stated that was the ugliest F**kn thing I had ever seen. But after being in a couple and looking at the features it came with, hell I bought one. A GT AWD with the towing package, had every option except Onstar and power seats. I was very happy with it for a long time except the 18-19 mpg that the awd got here in the mountains, but it would go until the front bumper started to plow snow. I've keep it all this time because in all reality it is nicer than what I could get out of it, since the resell is crap, so it was in my opinion better to keep it than sell if for nothing and spend more money just to get something as nice and well maintained.

Saturn was gone in 2010 too. Penske was interested in purchasing the Saturn line, but a deal couldn't be reached so they were axed at the same time.
 
I think the Aztek was ahead of its time. It looked crazy ugly when first released, but compared to what we see today, it strikingly fits in.
 
I think im the most upset that the GTO and G8 style cars never caught on.
Yeah Chevy has the SS but its 45K and you can get a lot of nice cars for that.
