It was probably a combination of a whole bunch of things that caused it.

It was way over due for an oil change, probably low oil level too. I just haven't had time

Down shifting to too low of a gear going around the off ramp is probably what did it in.


The funny thing is it didn't start showing symptoms of a spun bearing until I went back out to advanced auto.

Ah well live and learn.



All that's left to do is put the top end back together and get the new springs and seals on there. I actually have a couple of days off this week to work on it, quite a change of pace from the 6 days a week I've been working lately. I wanna say it will be done by monday but.... who knows, with my luck a sink hole will open up and swallow my car.

Im getting there. Swapping the springs and valve seals at the moment.

Forgot how sexy the car looked on the ground.

oMG ITS ****ING FIXED I CANT BELIEVE IT.

AFTER BEING BROKEN FOR A YEAR AND A DAY, THE ONLY MISFIRES IT HAS NOW ARE THE GOOD LOPEY KIND :)

Sooooo happy.

I really have no idea. I didn't do anything to the wiring harness aside from take all the factory tape off to inspect it then tape it back up.

The only thing that's different are the original rockers are on and the cam.

I figured it out. This car gives my so much trouble because the bags are cursed.


Sooooooo today, on my way to an interview I heard my axle making some noise. I knew it needed replacing after seeing all grease it spit out, I figured I'd fix it today after the interview.

On the way home the noise was getting increasingly louder, until the axle was vibrating the whole car. Then there I was, going 80mph in the right lane 3 exits away from home on rt 18. Suddenly I feel the right side of the car DROP. I look to my right and see my wheel .... passing me.

"Oh my god" I say to myself as I watch my wheel fly passed me down the highway, into the grass and into a exit sign post.

Yeaaaah. I love this car, and how it tries to kill me. Good times.

Not much damage, the fender bowed in at the bottom by the door and the theres a big dent at the top of the fender that you cant see in the pic.

Yeah, it is kinda funny.

I didnt think that a bad axle could do that.
