• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Tube between the air filter and intake manifold?

FWIW Dexcool doesn't cause the intake gasket issues. It's only true claim to fame is potentially turning to oatmeal if air is introduced. Ford, Chrysler and GM all went nylon based (plastic) gaskets around the same time and all of them had the same issues.

My GM truk had a trans drain plug. Maybe it's just the cheap GP that didn't have one.

Do you have to point out everything I say wrong!!!??? Lol.

No, I could let you be stupid and never learn anything.

I've changed coolant etc and seen the plastic gaskets look horrible in under 20K miles. It's the gaskets, not the coolant. Yet if you search the internet..you will find a lot of things saying it's coolant based. The coolant was oat based.. so it sludged. When you research an issue enough and you work on hundreds of cars and different brands/models you learn tons.

Dude... Don't argue with people's ignorance. Its easier to keep them down. BTW I'm glad you understand the whole dex-cool/nylon 66 gaskets issues. I thought I was the only one who did enough real reasearch into the issue.
