Got a repair order - have a few questions

So nobody at the local MVA will pick up the phone, as well as my state police automotive safety enforcement division. Since they're not picking up I need some information on what I can do. I'd ultimately like to sell my GTP to a buddy of mine, because salvage yards are only offering $150 or so. Though the repair order isn't very clear on what exactly needs to be done if I choose to sell the car.

Stated on the repair order it says "If this vehicle has been traded, sold, repossessed, junked or otherwise disposed of submit a notarized statement and include the vehicle serial number and the date of the applicable transaction."

Now.. I'd like to sell my car privately. When I originally bought the car privately, we drew up a simple little "My name is ____ and I purchased this car for $xx amount on 01/01/2014" then on another line had "My name is ____ and I am selling this car for $xx amount on 01/01/2014"

Am I just sticking another one of these half-assed bill of sales (notarized statement?) along with the vin and the repair order, then mailing it to the address listed?

you need a title to sell it, any one who buys it with out a title is a moron. if you bought it with out a title see my last statement.....:th_scratchhead:

then if you sell it before the court date, or repair date, you bring the bill of sale to show them you sold it. dont ship off for a year only to come back to a issue later on that you long forgot about.

make sure you get something from them in writing that its cleared, courts are messed up some times.
