But yeah that was close, one tiny distraction and that would have been an accident

The best part was that I saw the car starting to make his turn, so I looked in my rearview and saw the SUV barreling down the curb lane. My inside voice was saying "don't go, don't go, don't go". Now, if buddy wasn't cracking a u-turn, I would have some sympathy, but doing what he did, he deserved to get hit.

Bronco, if you ever do catch a crash pull over and offer up the camera to cop to look at on-scene. Pleeease! You never know how important that might be and whoever you're late for should understand the delay.

I just got word to go pick up the GT. Need a 10 mile lift, hmmm. I'm ready to get that thing back so I can de-neglect the GTP and or GP.

Put in a good day on somebody else's car today, the big front burner one. Prestidigitation required, and I think I may have fooled the audience lol. For now.

Something fun for myself. I only have one day a week to work on it, so Sunday I stayed until 3am to get the motor plates done, engine set in, transmission figured out, tin work up front etc etc. I think I can have it running this sunday.

run that factory rear and show them carnage pics lol

back in HS a friend did a 350 in a vega. he tore that rear end out so many times. he ended up building a 4 link pretty much.

Axle seal still leaks, shop said its possible the guy when he did the bushing messed it up causing it to make the seal leak, he is pretty sure its not the axle but I still think it is. He recommended a new cover, out the door installed is like 390. He then said it might be my motor mount having too much play, thats 180 in just labor using the mount I have already in the shed and he isn't even sure those will fix the problem.

Did plugs on the car. Still took me less time than some of you whiners...lol

Realized the TB could use a little cleaning action... gave away all the TB cleaner.
Realized it could use an air filter as well... hmmmm is this upgrade to whine time?

Picked up TB cleaner later on.
Still thinking about that intake setup. These cars have so much insulation to keep them quiet that even another GP guy who bought one and did an intake pipe, once he sealed off the heat of the engine bay, he had very little sound. Think I need to look closer and find a way to get a intake from the fender well and insulate whatever pipe I use.

Sister bought her first car yesterday 01 Monte with 150k with the 3.4 ehhhhhh. She paid like 2600 and the dealership is detailing it and delivering it for free.

It looks great and I guess has a warranty on body rust for 3 years and the interior for 2.

I have a GP
Dad had a GP
Sister has a monte
Mom has alacrosse
Cousin, and aunt with impalas
