Best way to repair Grand Prix's faux leather seat?

I have two medium size tears in the driver's seat, I got a quote from a restoration / uhpolstry shop of $225 to replace the seat panel that has the two tears in it, seem's expensive to me.

What is the best (cheapest) one to get the seat repaired, as one can see not only do I have the two tears in the seat panel but a lot of crackling on the side.

Leather repair kit, seat covers, etc ?

find and buy 04+ seats. your foam looks shot to hell too. they will cost less then the quote you just got too. and are a way more comfy seat in the end.

I do these repairs for a living. I'm not a paid vendor so I won't name my company, but if you're interested pm me and I'll put you in touch with an owner down in Florida. I THINK we have a franchise in your area. I know there is one in Jacksonville and Ocala. I would charge 85 with a warranty as long as you own the car. FL prices might be a little more, I dunno. You can drop my name and tell him we're besties :)

But if its splitting from dry rot it may do it in other places. Especially perforated leather, it rips like opening a zipper.

+1 for going with 04+ seats. The stock seats have 0 lateral support and the bottom seems to be slanted toward the door in most that I've sat in.
