$230 is high for my area, can't say I've seen a higher price yet, but I haven't looked. He must use Llumar or 3M tint, which can be pricey. He is one of the mobile guys too, he comes to you. All you need is a place in the shade. Garage, canopy, etc. I'm surprised he can do that, some areas at some times are extremely dusty from pollen or other crap. This is road construction season in Michigan, so dust is all around.

Orders some stuff that I've been meaning to take care of

Trans cooler
Dorman pan
Delco filter
3 gal Dexron IV (arrived Sunday)
50ft of welding cable
Trans go shift kit

Gotta go back and order all the little odds and ends and find a free weekend to knock this crap out.


Oh and fuel pump went out last week.. Ordered a few things and rebuilt it.. 30 secs after start up noticed I was getting no fuel pressure.. Pulled the pump yay



Note to self get a piece of higher rated hose.

This other guy is mobile.. Which I prefer since I don't have time during the week to go drop it off.. I'll just let him come to me.. Same thing pollen season so doing it out in the open is a pain luckily I can just have him pull it in a bay at work and do his magic plus being 90+ outside I'm sure he'll prefer the bay. I'll have to talk to him next time he stops around need all 4/banner/sunroof tinted for a good price.. But waiting a week or two will my windshields replaced.

Even the slightest breeze is the most frustrating thing lol. The whole time I wished I had a roomy lit garage.

Lmao now imagine doing that in 90 degree weather lol. I'm gladly going to pay someone.. Tint is something I have no desire to do myself and I'm the type of guy that refuses to pay someone for something I can do myself.

Let me know what you think of that welding cable when you see it in person. If you have any extra I might buy some off of ya, I've been tossing around the idea of replacing my 2 4 AWG runs for 1 1\0 AWG run.

$40 got me all the good tools to tint, I had to at least try. And they do make it look easy in the videos no doubt, lots of little things you have to know that they won't explain. But after trying it, looking back I see all those techniques they did but weren't explained. I'm the same way, if I can do it I will lol. Except alignments and tires, which I still have done both myself before but thats because of school.

Well you don't know everything the PO has done to the PCM. I love my overkill PCM. Totally paid for itself.

I went with 4awg figured that's plenty enough for what I need and didn't want to go all out and spend a bunch getting a 0 gauge..


Hell I have quite a bit of 0 gauge from knukoncept

thats why i asked here if i would benefit or should i even run it based on the limited mods i have. a few of our senior members said go ahead and install it.
the only thing the seller told me was he ran it on a 1.9 rocker and 3.5 pulley set up. he also said go ahead and run it with my stock pulley. if the only thing i'm getting from it is crappy gas mileage , then it's kinda useless no ? actually before i bought it i planned on doing zzp rockers and trying a 3.5 pulley , that's why i bought it from him.

You could shoot will a email with the serial # on the back of the pcm... He could tell you what it was setup for just to be sure. I would go ahead and run it.. Unless there's major valve train work like a big cam etc it should run fine.. Yea you won't seek the full benefit of it but I bet it's still enough of a improvement meanwhile.

another thing a noticed today was a lot less noise from the intake and a lot less supercharger whine. before the intake sucking air sound was very noticeable and the SC whine was a lot louder. is it because the AFR is different ?
