Got folks I ought to visit in Dallas, I'll try to holler if I get down there this year. Out west of FW ain't a bad place to be, I was over on the other side in Garland many years but its been too long since I went for a visit. Probably would not recognize the state at all lol. Seriously, not a bad place to be but the weather might take you awhile to adjust to.

Just to be back with my family, they moved down here about a year ago.

I always like think on the insurance side too. A older car likely is cheaper and that WS6 is rape your rates for someone that is young.

Someday I want a older car that I can just swap a LS into.
 
If I got an old C10 I'd keep an old sbc in it. Maybe LS swap it down the road but not anytime soon. The F100 was pretty cheap to insure so I'm sure an old C10 would be about the same. A WS6 would probably kill me on insurance with my driving record..
 


Well, the Regal stays. I'm trying to work out getting a trans built, then fsic, Gen V time. Recently ran a guy I work with in his Fbody Camaro and pulled a good 2 cars on him from a dig. That reminded me why I like this car so much in the first place.. I love hurting people's feelings and surprising them. So built Regal and all the hurt feelings to come.
