I can't drive my Vette 5 miles without a mustang owner or some other various form of a duchebag owner reving or gunning it next to me. I guess I've gotten too old cause I just want to cruise and could careless to have a pissing match. Anyone else have this issue?

Why not buy a Z06 that does not grab attention? You bought the most bright color, on one of the most iconic cars. Judging by you avatar it's lowered maybe on stock bolts.

I know what you mean. Hardly the same universe, but my very first day with my FR-S, some Civic with no two body panels matching in color tailed me across town. Lifted trucks, BMWs, even GPs seem to wanna play.

Thanks for the offer, but after blowing 3 transmissions in my turbo GTP, one of which was a "race" transmission I think I'll pass.

Ok you still bought a yellow Z06, I have yet to meet anyone in the LSx world that would not try to race a vette, even old guys like me and even older guys in their 40's and 50's who own Z06's still do. Why buy that car if you were not wanting to go fast? I buy fast cars to use them not complain about it on a forum, I currently do not have a fast car for two reasons, A.) I sold my Z28 as I felt it was a distration and B.) We are in the adoption process and shelling out $25k for that means I do not get to have a toy for now. '

Just because they rev at you doesn't mean you're obligated to do anything other then keep going where you're headed.

Ignoring people is pretty easy, unless they're complete tards they'll give up after a few minutes, and you can continue just cruising. After a while, they'll remember the yellow vette doesn't like to play, and start ignoring you. Problem solved.

Where did I say anything about not wanting or liking fast cars? As far as racing, there's a time and place for that. I'm not about to lose my career and ability to carry a gun over racing on the street. If I'm at a dragstrip that's a different story, but when I'm out just cruising it's rather annoying having people pull up next to me revving and gunning it.
