New owner of a 2004 gtp suspected to be comp g

Riddle

New member
Hi all I'm riddle yes that's my name, I recently bought a 2004 gtp not marked for comp g how ever it has red calipers, tap shift, magna steer 11, stabiltrac, rpo code ws6 but has no comp g badge or 10 spoke wheels. If needed I can get pics for u. What I want to know if this thing is an Un mark comp g. Any light shed on this would be great. :th_scratchhead:

a lot of people like to remove the badges. aka the emblems.

call a dealer with the vin# they will be able to tell you what the car is for sure. does sound like a comp g tho. its the only gp with paddle shiftier.

Check the RPO codes for the code that gives the transmission final drive ratio. The comp G transmissions got the 3.29 final drive sets.

I've only seen a Comp G badge on a 2005 from dealer. Everyone I know with a 2004 bought the badges and put them on.

You mean only V6 variant with paddles right? 'Cause the GXP has a lot of the Comp G equipment or better.
