A Word To Our Remarkable Community Members

When we put the donation module on line we were not really sure what to expect as far as the amount of donations we would get if any at all. I told Chance I would lead by example and donate myself and planned on doing so first but Reptile beat me to that. My hope was that if I put my money where my mouth was then others would see that being and Admin does not exempt me from digging in and giving back.

I thought that since it was the weekend that likely there would not be much action with donations and then perhaps on Monday we would see some trickle in. I was so SORELY mistaken and COMPLETELY underestimated this community. I hope that all of you will forgive me of that underestimation.

In less than 24hrs, we met our first established goal for donations. 24 HOURS folks! Thats impressive. This community is not as large as others, doesnt have the vendor support that others do and the meets are not quite as large but each of you that have gave have demonstrated belief in this community and your commitment to its continuation.

I am VERY thankful to all of you that have given so far and know that I sincerely appreciate it. You guys and gals ROCK!! We may not have the numbers or the support that other communities do, but you have spoken equally as loud as they ever could. Thank each and every one of you.
 


Considering the maturity, knowledge, and respect that is demonstrated on these forums, the decision to donate was easy. I only regret that I can't afford to donate more.

Thanks go out to you and the other Admins/Mods for keeping the riff-raff in check and allowing the people who truly care about the community, and want to see it continue to thrive and grow, to have a forum they can be proud of.
 
I plan on giving more this coming friday, as it is my payday....

I find it awesome we made enough to take care of the server upgrade!!

I am VERY pleased to see the community growing!

I dont think anybody could put it any better than that, as this is the first real "community" forum I have been a member of. and I wouldnt trade my membership here for even the most elaborate camaro.
 
Donations, revenue from the site store, and advertising revenue keep NAIOA's lights on. If you can do it with solid donations, that's impressive. :)
 


Curiously, what are the donation levels?

NEVER MIND...I am a TARD...I hadn't clicked on the link...had just seen it and planned on donating.

I just donated. I put us at the $300 even mark. I am not on this site that much but when I do, I get the info I came in to get and I also find new info that I can use in the future. Thanks for keeping this forum alive and well.

I haven't been able to make a donation yet either, but it's coming. It is nise to see everyone step up to get done what is needed.
