• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hi all. Well, just moved to Missouri from Florida. Its ok here, just need to get used to it.

Anyway, i found a 1990 GP Turbo. I have seen them before but never really paid much attention to them. Well, i ran across this 90 last week and went to go drive it this morning. Well, they guy flooded it out, so it wouldnt start. He is one of those guys that still live in carb. world, he was pumping the gas as he was trying to start it. LOL

Anyway, it has 120K, very clean int and engine compartment. The body is strait but the paint isnt perfect. He has owned it for 3 yrs. The only problem he says it has is it cuts out durning hard accelaration, but if you drive it normal it runs perfect. So i was wondering if you experts think its worth the $1000 he is asking. Im thinking of offering $600 for it the way it is, cranks but no start!!! LOL

Anyway, i hope to get whatever info i can find..
Thanks

He is one of those guys that still live in carb. world, he was pumping the gas as he was trying to start it. LOL

My advice...I know its a turbo 90....but run away!! When you see someone who tries to start a fuel injected vehicle by pumping the gas :th_shakinghead1:...chances are he "worked" on that vehicle :th_wtf: and there are other things wrong with it.:th_shrugshoulders:

I like those cars! but like said earlier... I bet he didnt know how to work on it...and it needs a lot of TLC.

Welcome to the forum. Happy to have you here. I agree with what was said above. If he's owned the car for 3 years and hasn't learned how to start it properly, I'd say there is probably some unseen problems.
