The harmonic balancer puller tool doesnt seem to work for this harmonic balancer seems like the bolts that goes in on the sides doesnt fit also first time i use this tool any help

Post a pic of what you're using. You need a kit of bolts from zzp or the right size ones anyway. Bolts that come with a generic puller won't work.

If I remember right the typical puller has a cone you put on the end . This is too wide for the center hole in the H B. Simply don't use the tip. You will separate the rubber otherwise. Djudge1970

I bought 3x 1/4 fine 3" bolts they fit fine i am now using the harmonic balancer and im using the generic bolt wich fits in the center fine dont understand why while im tightening its still spins(moves) the harmonic balancer even after i tightend the side bolts is it not suppose to stop it from moving to where i tighten the center bolt and it pushes it off ??

Did you take the cone off the end of the puller bolt? If not you need to, the cone is to big and won't go into crank and will not work correctly.

I use a standard HB puller.

Like mentioned you won't use the cone. Another thing is most puller sets don't contain the 1/4" fine thread bolts that kinda fit or the correct M6 x 1.00 x at least 75mm bolts that are correct for the HB.

I know because I ran into this problem before. That's why in the amount of time it took to post my response , I could have used a 3 jaw and been having a beer ;)

Look where the engine meets the transmission from under the car. There is a plastic inspection cover held on by two 10mm bolts. Remove that and you can then use something to keep the flex plate from turning.

update: I ended up getting it off and replacing the crank sensor successfully now i put everything back on but now when i go to start it doesnt want to turn on and sounds like the serpertine belt isnt spinning i put it on correctly but somethings wrong when i try to start maybe the harmonic balancer or something smh

Serpentine belt won't stop it from starting..agree did you put the balancer on correctly with the keyed part lined up with crank and balancer so the balancer went on correctly?

It only goes in one way. There is a key on the crank and there is a place where the balancer fits that key.
