• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Your craigslist finds, ricers, personals, stupidity, etc

I guess it was my own mistakes. I didn't get one FB for a long time, and when I did it was for friends\family. Then I joined the GPONA group which isn't bad, but a few people that requested me as friends because of seeing my GP are pretty bad. Nice guys and all, they're just the types of guys that BS stuff about their cars and have nothing to back it up when I ask for details. Like my buddy in Joplin who kept saying a stock GTP's HP was 260 at the wheels. I proved him wrong, but "his has 260 at the wheels" repeated Facepalm...

Yeah that group isnt bad, im in almost all of them and some of the stuff you see is nuts.....its a shame forums are dying off it seems.

tbird = rwd
i was young and dumb once and almost bought a 86 t bird turbo coupe
my best friend had a t bird already and almost had me talked into getting it.
glad i didn't and watched his fall apart within 6 months literally everything broke.

This grinds my gears, people try to pull the same SH!T here in central TX, they have some classic rust bucket hunk of poop with no motor or trans, in a field and think it's made of gold. maybe if that fvcker was LS swapped I would pay that much.
pretty pricey
but it would be sweet, black and low with plenty of hp to move that beast.

I love the old Turbo Coupe's. My buddy runs a race shop, and put a "lightly massaged" Turbo Coupe 2.3L into his Ranger.....

This thing hauled ass. I drove it one time, when it was on 33" Swamper tires. Stopped at a light, some kid in a Civic was beside me looking all cool. Light turns green, he tromps on it, I wait a second, floor it, wiz by him in second gear, change to third, waste-gate dumps just as I'm beside him...... the look on his face was priceless.

Coming from a guy that drives a Grand Prix...lol

I'd give him 1200 if it could do a burnout. Aren't they rwd

Yeah they are rwd, I am jsut glad it wasn't a turbo coupe I would punched his momma right in the nose if he had messed up a Turbo Coupe haha.

And I saw that lovely GP with the lifted hood, reminds me of what I see on the LS1 fbody pages on facebook. The cars are getting cheaper and the owners are getting dumber.

I have known quite a few folks with em, a buddy has a fully built one, they are not unreliable cars, only how you treat em, it's a turbo car, you don't keep up on oil changes they are going to break down.

I had one a few years back and loved it. Then again I love bastard child cars.
