Popping noise when braking

When I am driving about 25 MPH then coming to a stop sign, the gradual braking (slow braking, not hard) I near no noise at all, until the car comes to a stop then I hear and feel a "pop" coming from the front of the car...

I've had it in TWICE now to have this fixed... first they changed the passenger side control arm... didn't go away... took it somewhere else, they saw the sway bar rusted and cracked, and yes it was and the bushings wore out... had that fixed today and guess what the popping got louder!

any ideas?

What do you drive? How many miles? Any other parts replaced yet? It makes the noise right when the suspension decompresses a bit right?

I've just hit 66k miles, I'm the original owner since early 2009 (it's an 08 GP). I drive "normal" not aggressive with it, mostly just in town driving.

When it happens as I'm stopping right before it hits a complete stop you get the pop then the car is at a stand still.. I can even go like 10 MPH then take 300 ft to stop and it still goes pop... but if I go like 30 MPH then do a fast stop, I don't really notice it.. seems like the slower the stop the more I notice it.

Nothing else has been replaced except a caliper on the front a few years ago, and new rotors, but it was making this noise before the rotors were replaced. and there was probably a good year+ between the caliper change and this noise starting.

Check your brake hardware. Mine had a similar sound but it was definitely coming from my brakes. Changed the hardware when I bought new pads and it was gone.
