Why contact shops? Its called post an ad on craigslist or search craigslist for someone who will do it in their driveway for a few bucks, that is how I did it.

A few people wanted to see some updates. Well... there's not much to update, its still broke. I have an s1x coming in the mail soon and I bought a new beater so I should have it running 100% shortly. Everyone likes pics so here's a few of the many I've taken over the past several months. I got a new phone so after the first few pics the quality will increase. All pics are in sequential leading to today.

A few people wanted to see some updates. Well... there's not much to update, its still broke. I have an s1x coming in the mail soon and I bought a new beater so I should have it running 100% shortly. I turbo'd an SL2 way back in the day....it lasted for about 5 miles.

Saturn is another brand that was mismanaged by GM. In the beginning (1990s) Saturn was like an experiment...that was working, then GM had to tinker with it. Saturn got its own factories, its own parts system, its own everything...the other brands like Buick and Caddy became jelly. When you went to a Saturn dealer...you didn't haggle, the price on the sticker was what you paid. It was sort of like Scion was supposed to be for Toyota but they ****ed that up too. You picked and pieced together all the stuff you wanted a la carte and paid the price. AND IT WORKED. GM got it in their head they knew better and just killed it.
An article came out today about Koenigsegg and their attempt to purchase Saab, they discussed all the things they watched GM do to make sure NOTHING worked out. They did the same **** to Pontiac FYI.

This saturn is a great little car. Even with 200k on it its definitely still got a lot of life left.
Pontiac lost its niche in GM imo. All they had going for them was their styling, then they screwed that up once 2004 came rolling around when all the pontiacs looked almost identical to the Chevy equivalent.
