• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Word on the street is Jeremy Clarkson will be fired tomorrow.

...and thus ends the era of Top Gear.

Unfortunately, word is he berated the guy for 20 minutes with nasty rants then smacked him around for around 30 seconds. So you have to understand the BBC has to do what it has to do and understand how the BBC is funded...and if you don't look it up.

The question is with what will happen with Hammond and May to come back, they are technically signed for 2 more years.

No telling what will happen.

I personally like Fifth Gear with Tiff Needell (he use to be on Top Gear), I could accept him hosting the show.

I'm pissed because this is the only show I sit down week to week to watch... There is no way in my opinion that the show can go on without Jeremy. The show is pretty much centered around him. No we are stuck watching the crappy American top gear. IMO

I don't honestly think this is the last time we will see all 3 together.

And American Top Gear has gotten somewhat better, I do watch it. The rehash of UK jokes kind of sucks. I do like the truck challenges they do since UK TG didn't really touch that...until this season LOL

Yea that Ford and chevy episode was pretty sweet. I honestly haven't watched much American top Gear becuase I just never liked it... I might give her another try

Hall says they are discussing hosts for Top Gear 2016, meaning they have every intention of keeping it going.

Hammond and May say no, but money talks.

Clarkson turned himself in according to the report.

After it happened, Clarkson repeatedly tried to apologize to the guy for the next 5 days, guess the guy rejected the apology. Strange situation this is because on one hand the right thing was technically done, but I'm sure it doesn't feel that way to Oisin, since he has been receiving death threats and what not. At one point, I do believe he was quoted saying I wish it would all just go back the way it was.

Clarkson sold off the rights to Top Gear, he may have a non-compete clause in the contract for said sale, who knows what will happen. All 3 are rich enough to retire and have their children retire now.

Will all 3 be back together again in a show? doubtful; since the contracts they are being held to may make it impossible, who knows, May and Hammond may have already signed the contract for the next 3 years and they have no choice but to fulfill it.

While we say Clarkson made the show, it was the chemistry of all 3 that made it work. Will Clarkson have another show? You bet.

Oisin should have quietly sued Clarkson for a decent chunk of change instead of this blow out.

May and Hammond have stated they won't do the show without Clarkson. I read that something might show up on Netflix centered around Clarkson.

From the looks of things, both Hammond and May have been publicly saying "it has been a wonderful ride and an end to an era" They both appear to list they are former hosts too, so it looks like they will not resign either.

Clarkson has been itching to leave and change things.

Understand Oisin didn't start this. He thought he was **** canned when Clarkson fired him (he doesn't have the real authority to do so). Clarkson turned himself in, this is all on Clarkson, Oisin had no control after Clarkson did what he did. Hall and Clarkson have both said this is on Clarkson and not Oisin.

I am talking about the media sh!tstorm is has caused. I would have quietly and privately tried to take as much money for "pain and suffering" as possible. I realize it is a government run network so you can't keep this stuff buried for long but man if you could?

He couldn't keep it quiet, Jeremy did it. What made him turn himself in? Guilt? who knows, it is done.

BBC has several black eyes for covering things up in the past.

It is over, it is sad, but I'm not angry.

They changed all motoring journalism as we knew it and now there are several pieces of content available for your viewing pleasure.
