• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

starting a top swap on a 2000 gp l36 still collecting parts

so i picked up a fuel pump/sender/bucket assembly from the local junkyard today. is was from a 2000 gtp. how do i tell if i picked up/identify the unit i bought as a venturi pump or not?

also scored a gen v huffer today too!

If it's venturi, you will see a little black hose on top of the pump.

Also, if the car had a steel tank, it's venturi. If plastic, non venturi.

sweet! yes the car had a steel tank and yes i see the little black hose on top of the pump inside the canister!

if that's the case, this pump will go into the car tonight!

oh another question- what about this 2 speed pump business- i guess i need to get this pump to always operate in high speed mode for my non gtp wired car with top swap?
