NEED HELP!! im having engine issues!

hey guys i was wondering if anyone has encountered the same issues that i have. so i get in my car and it takes an extra second or two to turn over but then after that it is fine at idle. then i put it into drive and start driving but when i try to accelerate it bogs down and doesn't do much it kinda seems to be shutting down. it seems like it is an injector, fuel line, or fuel pump issue but i would like your input and help. Thanks!
 


we need more info. year, make model, miles. check engine light on? or does it flash when you floor it? last known tune up?

Uh... with a title like that I expected a blown engine. Please elaborate more and fill in the details Scott asked. "Kinda seems to be shutting down" is pretty generic. Is it stalling, just bogging, does it always do it? cold vs warm? See where we are going with this, you are our eyes, ears etc.
 
check your catalytic convertor......mine plugged and I had very poor power.......eventually it (thru the egr valve) burned a hole in the roof of the intake plenum..... :(
 


it is a 2002 pontiac grand prix gt 133k. it was bogging down. although it ran at a normal temp. This morning when i started it, it would run for a few seconds then stall.
 
if you can get the car to autozone, or most parts stores do free code reading. get the code. start there. the cel holds the key to your repair.
