WS6 Hood for GP who's got em? Show some pics!

Yah, like I said, if I had come across a ws6 hood for cheap, i would buy it and it would probably grow on me, even if I don't care for it over the other hoods available. I have functional ram air on my hood, I don't have it hooked up. I could probably hook it up someday and test to see if it helps the IAT's reading from the aeroforce, but I don't think there is much to gain from hooking it up temp wise and air wise, and the fact that I'd have to cut a hole in my msp intake. It also extracts heat from the engine bay, in the summer there is condensation that builds up around the windshield when the a/c is on. The opening on the left is for air coming in and through the engine bay, the opening on the right of the hood shoots straight over to the intake. Here are some pictures of what im talking about:

Here's the underside of my F1:

Yeah, I like the way they have the rear vents in it. From what I heard the "ram air" really doesn't take affect on our cars until you hit high speeds. I do like both hoods. Like you said, it all depends on the car it's going on. I think the WS6 would look better on mine considering my front bumper.

Don't mind the fog lights. they were good dear spotters for running down back roads at night. For me, it also seems to depend on the color of the car. Yours looks awsome, but I've seen it on red ones and yes it looks good, but then I see the WS6 on Davids GP and it seems to look better.

I don't think that the ram air is functional on this hood unless you sealed up the hole on the hood latch.

I talked to wife about the hood and she told me that she doesn't like the way it looks on my car. :( She also told me that I could spend the money that he wants for the hood but not on the hood. WTF?

She told me that it would be different if it were a one time purchase but this would cost me an additional $300 to $500 to get it painted.

Lord I hate when I find good deals and the wife has to deny my purchases.

I know what you mean. I go through it all the time. another reason why mine is a slow work in progress.lol!!!!

RYNOMAN, hey just to let you know, I made my own hood, I love it, I've got tons of mad compliments on it, it's functional to a point (still workin on cai setup). A major downside to purchasing a fiberglass one is that you dont know how good of quality it is, one guy i know bought one and 2 shops and 3 weeks later, finally got it fitted correctly and installed.

also here's my cardomain site for the pics http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2333123 and here's a pic of my hood done painted and installed.

are you kidding me? I love it, I think it looks badas*, so does every student that sees it, I think it really depends on your taste. I know it looks awesome, but I don't expect everyone to like it.

Lools really good man. Enjoyed being able to watch the progress of the build. You have me thinking of doing mine now.
