Anyone put a 5.3 in a 97-03 Grand prix??

Ok So I Have a Series II 3.8 98 GTP. Ultimate goal is over 500 hp w/o NOS. Realizing how almost impossible this is going to be... (I dont want to turbo) SO, has anyone put the 5.3 into a 97-03 grand prix. If so what all would this entail? 2nd. Has anyone put an m90 on the 5.3? Assuming A custom Lower intake would have to be fabricated at the very least and some way to spin it. Anyways just bored and being curious! Thanks people!
 


ls4 into a 97-03 is simple find a wrecked MCSS, impala SS, GXP grand prix, or lacross super and cannibalize the wrecked car. (hint find one with a rear end hit lol!)
 


How bout mounting a supercharger up to it? I can handle the wiring. Pockets are pretty deep. I am assuming that I would need to take a complete engine, tranny, harness and computer... Sound about right? I found one guy that put a northstar v8 into there 99 gtp but that engine in my opinion is crap! No motor should take 7.4 qts of oil! That got me looking tho. STS-v comes with (Im assuming) the same 4.4L v8 but has a factory supercharger on it. 469 factory hp. I can work with that... Just dont know if its actually the same motor. I do know its mounted completely different in the rwd sts...
 
Lots of custom work needs to be done to make it work, subframe, mounts, engine/trans combo must be from same vehicle (can't use a regular 4t65e HD trans), tuning/security system.

Not sure how you'd wire up the dash seeing how you'd want the newer fuse panel and be using the old cars BCM.
 


Not too concerned about the wiring. I am planning on running all my own guages and making a custom instrument cluster at some point.
 
Found a whipple system for the ls4... I think. Anybody know if a factory gxp pcm is tunable to accommodate a supercharger?
