My abs and check tire pressure light on

Hi, I have a 97 Grand prix gt. Both the abs and check tire pressure light is on and sometimes when I drive for long enough the Trac off comes on. So I went to a nearby shop that scanned my abs code for free, got lucky.... and they said I had all 4 bad wheel sensors, and said my car probably had a bad abs module.. anybody have this problem too that can confirm that's what it is?

My 97 does the same thing. It could be wheel bearings (which is where the sensors are located.) OR IT could be a bad EBCM. I have a bad EBCM.

snag one from a junk yard, or ship it off to module masters, they charge like a 100 to rebuild em. they test them too before they rebuild, if it tests good they send it back.

From what I was told you can NOT just get one from the junkyard unless you want to have it reprogrammed at the dealership.

you 97 guys got this gem? bolted to the master? if you take the whole master and abs pump off from a junk yard theres no reprogramming. its not even reprogram, but it needs to be "re homed" cost me 30 bucks at the local garage.

i have a spare one. but once its taken off the bad master it will need to be re homed. sanp onabs scanner is what the guy used, tech 2 will also re home it.

you need to take the pump apart to get it off the master, then the servos will unwind. they are what needs to be reset.
