• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

we should make it a party boat fishing trip with camping. flounder starts in may iirc.

midnight blues is a good old drunken time too lol

ive done it. it was a exhausting good time.

called up got a camp site, set up camp, drank ate, packed cooler went midnight blue fishing. we all left the boat bloody and sh it faced lol. damn good time. all but the 11 am check out the next morning at the camp ground.

you need more than a night out to do it right, needs to be a meet up friday, fish friday night, sleep late and hang all day sat, leave sunday morning.

or do a day trip for fish you want to eat, like flounder/fluke. hell we can cook what we caught for dinner at the camp ground.

no salt water fishing lic for NJ either.

screw surf casting. lol the fish are just out of reach. believe it or not. i took me 5 years to figure this out, the bigger fish are in the deeper channels. where i caught a few 24 inch flounders, and thats a f ing monster really. they were at least 2 inches thick. id spend my days drifting the channels, where no one else was, nice and quiet like that.

if you head in shore more its like a cattle drive, you can almost walk boat to boat some days.

95 south is all you need to know, hit exit 11 to

Garden State Parkway South) to Exit 117 for Keyport / Sandy Hook.

Follow signs on exit ramp for Route 36.

Continue on Route 36 for approximately 9 miles - when you reach Leonardo you're getting close!

You will pass a McDonald's on your right, then a Foodtown Supermarket.

Take the next jughandle which will put you on First Avenue. (There will be signs for the Municpal Harbor.)

Cross over Route 36 and continue down First Avenue to the end of the street.

The Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor will be on your right.
