Ok I have a 2006 gxp with custom exhaust. I have a slp loudmouth 2 muffler in place of the resonator and straight pipe the rest to quad tips. I love the sound and get a lot of compliments. But, I am getting tired of the drone. I test drove another gxp the other day at the auction and it had the magnaflow 16726 kit and I honestly loved it. There was no drone and it still have a nice tone to it when I floored it. But I don't want to drop $700 on an exhaust like that. Have any of you done custom exhaust and gotten similar results? I was thinking of getting a resonator and 2 mufflers by magnaflow but still undecided.
 


Need a good resonater to kill the drone and rasp then whatever muffler you choose, I like my Magnaflow mufflers aswell.
 
Volant ultra quiet resonators are top notch.

I run one on my truck, going catless made for huge amounts of rasp and that resonator took it nearly all away. Had zero drone on the freeway.
 
I noticed yoy woll hqve somr drone if the factory exhaust exits just before the bimper if the tips stick out a little from the bumper alot of the interior noise goes away

And I have no cat no res and just two Borla proxs mufflers at the back. Sounds perfect.
