235/50/17

Yeah makes sense, my LS has 245/35/20s and I know they clip the fender on every tight turn but only like when parking or getting out of a parking spot.

I'm lowerred on coils, 8.25" wheels at a +25 offset, cambered, and rolled fenders. I only rub when my wheels are at full lock, not under normal driving. 245/50 will fit just fine once you roll the fenders and run some camber.

Weird because 245/35/20 has the same overall tire size/diameter as 225/55/17.

So if the 245/35/20 is clipping my fender on my LS than that mean the 245/50/17 will clip my fender on my GS, Bc though the overall diameter of the 245/50/17 is about .9 less in overall diameter than both the 245/35/20 and 225/55/17 the width is still the same between the 245/35/20 and 245/50/17 which means the 245/50/17 will clip my fender.

Again, my 245/35/20 clips my LS fender but its the same overall diameter of my 225/55/17 tires but these tires do not clip my fender
245/50/17 is .9 less in overall diameter but that width is still 245mm same as the 245/35/20...lol I'm worried that the 245/50/17 will rub. Actually more worried of the price for these tires and then not fitting the way I want them to(without rubbing and clipping the fender).

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The 245/35/20 and 245/50/17 both have the same width which means the 245/50/17 will my clip my fender just as the 245/35/20 does.
Overall diameter difference between these two sizes is only .9

I've got 245/50/17's and am lowered on B&G's and i don't have any rubbing or fender clipping issues. My wheels are also 17x7.5 with a +35 offset.

Now im Thinking about 255/50/17 27.04 in diameter or 255/55/17 28.04 in diameter

I currently have 245/50/17s

Im more leaning towards 255/50\17s for me its all about the look and stance

255/50/17 is barely 1/4 of an inch more in diameter over the stock height.

Shouldn't affect me much right? As far as my sspeed, etc. Should clear fender well also

Circumference would be the overall space the tire would occupy right?

You think a 255/50/17 would be to big and or would rub?

I guess it isn't as much as thought, the speedo will read 1.5% slower than stock. A 245/50 is closer is why I went with them.

Tire Size Comparison
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
255/50-17 5.0in 13.5in 27.0in 84.9in 746 0.0%
225/60-16 5.3in 13.3in 26.6in 83.7in 757 -1.5%

Yeah im running 245/50/17s now which has a slight smaller diameter then stock(well i actually had 225/55/17s but pretty much the same)

With that said 255/50/17s wouldnt be a dramatic change at all huh?
