The light on my passenger side sometimes wont turn on if i turn my lights on and off a couple of times it will then turn on but there is about a 50% chance it turns on. Is this the ballast or the bulb. And also now it wont turn on at all. So should i just buy a new bulb and ballast or just a ballast? I know it is a 55w Ballast but how do i find the right replacement or will any 55w ballast work.

swap the ballast around and make sure you have bare metal grounds

What brand ballast do you have? Any ol 55watter will do.
I personally am paranoid about those things. For matched brightness and startup I replace in pairs

the kit is a DDM Kit 55W 5000k. does that help anything ha and i will try to fix the ground but does this kid usually have a ballast go out or tend to get a bad relay harness?
 


DDM harness fuse by the battery like to blow/melt. but that would affect both lights not one.

I dont have a problem with mine igniting, but the womens car has vvme and once in a great great while one light doesnt want to ignite.
