130# springs to much for my application?

OK guys I'm just trying to rule out all possibilities of knock..

I have a 2003 Pontiac with nearly 113,000 miles on her. At about 36,000 I decided to mod my gtp a bit and at that time I bought an extreme energy cam with push rods 130# springs lifters rollmaster double roller timing chain. Tog headers high flow catback cold air intake..

I was going to go even bigger but at that time fund's were a limiting factor..

I've had more than one member here comment on the valve springs being more than I needed..

Is it possible that the springs are to much spring and thus causing knock?

Doesnt really matter, you have a double roller. But with the mileage it might not be a bad idea to take a look at it for stretch.

Sure I'll try and get it later.. Pfyc sells it . its a tps sensor enhancer .

Well I'm going to take it easy till I get a good wideband tune.. Its my daily driver.. I already have enough problems with my Gto...

My bonneville daily driver has the mods in my signature without a wideband tune. No issues. Driven it across the country.

Well considering I have a can full header back exhaust ported tb cold air intake with a 3.4 pulley , I honestly don't think I need to pulley up.. But I'm at a loss as to where the knock is coming from.. Only thing I can think is the canned tune is junk..

Its not the tune. You have a mechanical issue. Headers are hitting somewhere knock sensors are bad. Dig around. A tune isn't going to cause 7*. Agreed that you shouldn't have knock on that setup, but you have something causing it. If you like your motor I'd pulley up until i found the issue or take the belt off. If you don't mind swapping the motor, then just keep praying you have 7* of false knock on a 3.4

Also.. When I pulled the plugs, they were really white meaning lean, meaning not good? Now knock sensors nor false knock wouldn't cause that would it?
Also thanks for your input. Its much appreciated...
