he didn't deserve it, but he sure made it seem like he wanted it by his actions. him having drugs in his system just makes his case harder to work with.

Agreed. I ride motorcycles on the track and I would never run out on to a hot track. When I crash, I'm up and running asap for the nearest wall to hide behind.

Yea the parents enabled him to smoke weed, which was a factor in his death, and now feel bad about it so they are going after the guy who has money. ****ing enablers.

racing is not a safe sport. dumb kid smoked pot and then got out of a race car after a crash and walked into traffic is what i saw.

i hope they get nothing.

Ya know, I'd understand if they were suing for $1 because they want "justice" and to put a blemish on Tony's career and reputation, but being "unspecified monetary damages" means they are probably suing for lost potential lifetime earnings of eleventy-bajillion dollars, so for greed not grief.
 
that kid was just dumb and killed himself. who really thinks tony went out of his way to hit the kid? no one. what if it was some broke ass other dumb kid who hit him, you gonna sue them when theres nothing to take? and in the end your kid was dumb and caused his own death.

Exactly what I've said all along. Had it been some random weekend warrior that the kid walked in front of to kill himself this wouldn't have made is past the local news. Because its a millionaire nascar driver, who has already been cleared of wrongdoing, it's an "issue" and he has to be sued for "unspecified monetary damages"
 
Tony's probably thinking "That ****ing kid wanted to die. He probably committed suicide cause his parents were gonna bleed him dry if he became famous."
