The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
As long as they are the same year your fine. right around 00, 01 gt's and gtp's switched from metal to plastic tanks, the newer tanks use a venturi pump and older ones don't. But same year you should be fine unless I am forgetting something goofy.
you are backwards... The older ones used Venturi. 97-first half of 2000 had venturi. Then second have of 2000-2008 used non-venturi pumps. PLUS IIRC the GTP pumps are dual speed pumps.
The gtp is 2 speed, pretty sure on my 00 gtp the tank is metal,on the 03 se we have its 100% plastic,as far as I can see they look the same on gtp,gt,se by looking at the top, holes are same, not definite if they interchange but gtp is definate 2 speed cause when its going semi bad you can bend the terminal on the fuse for the pump out and plug it back in and works full speed
I've done a bunch of swaps and a NA pump can easily fuel a SC engine. The opposite is also true.. an SC pump can fuel an NA motor, I run my SC pump in high speed mode all the time with my NA motor..... because the resistor blew a few years back.
Not sure I understand your question 94, please elaborate.
An NA motor with pcm programming and fuel pressure regulator will keep things in check.
An SC motor with the pump in high speed all the time plus regulator, you'll notice your fuel trims a bit off. But that's because when the programming is expecting you to be running in slow speed, you are in high.
Used . He said it came from a running car and I believe him because he said i can come get a free one . There was no gas in the tank and I put roughly 2 gallons in the tank, do I need more ?
