bolt on dbc throttle body for l26 intake manifold

I've been looking high and low for a drive by cable throttle body for a l26 intake manifold.

I'm doing a l26 intake swap onto my l36 and id like to avoid using the adapter to use my dbc throttle body. do I have any options other than to use my TB with the adapter and the new to the car l26 intake?

what about converting the l26 TB to cable operation? pull out dbw motor and weld or replace throttle shaft with cable compatible throttle shaft? or cutting off the l26 intake opening and weld DBC compatible opening in its place?

what about grand national 3800 parts or fbody TBs?

Goodness why are you working so hard. Just run an adapter. So much easier than converting a different TB. Fbody TB's are different bolt pattern as well and 98 or 2000 + is dbw as well.

I feel like your 3rd thought of welding the throttle body to the intake manifold would look much less clean than a simple adapter plate. They look good imo.

i found the solution to all my issues. i found an aluminum intake manifold that uses a cable throttle body and requires no adapter-the l67 intake manifold of course!! i'm gonna do a top swap and forget about all this l26 intake manifold nonsense. :)
