• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Pulled some more junk parts off the White GTP, cut the airbags so they weren't in my face and unbolted the hood. Hope to get the frame pulled within the next 2 weeks. Hope it works.

Btw what's a good price on a used subframe and dashboard?

This is a 3 1\2 setup, but when I goto Springfield I'll get the stuff for 4 inch. This will eventually end up on my mother-in-law's GT for some holiday (X-mas\Mother's day\Birthday\ETC.).

Just confirmed that the shop was right anout the problems on the LaCrap. WP pulley is seeping coolant, resonator has a hole in it someplace, it needs a belt. Tomorrow the TB comes off and gets a brass brush taken to it to clean it. Anddd the trans is still slipping when hot lol

JY is your friend subframe shouldn't be more then $100 or so and you should be able to grab dash for less then that

Hit something in the road and got a flat tire.....in my moms van.

Impala is almost all back together. Lots of delays and distractions today so its still not running yet.

Had a vibe pull up next to me on interstate and wanted to run. Hahaha. Silly vibe.

And the TPMS in this thing really pisses me off. Must look into that more.

TPMS in those impala's is actually really simple.

Depending on what its doing it may need a relearn with TPMS tool or you could have a failing battery in a sensor. They are only made to last like 7 years or so.

I've heard they are known for going bad. It's done it before but usually shuts off. Today it's been soing it all day.
It needs an oil change and tire rotate in a few weeks so maybe it'll fix itself then.

Also on those newer cars, when they are rotated the sensors will still think it's in the same spot even though they have changed positions. So like the LF sensor is now on the RR but it'll still say that tire pressure is great even though your LF tire is low, because in reality your LF was the LR and car will say LR low but it's on the LF.

I love confusing cars, customers at my work never understand it untill I show them with TPMS tool haha.

Oh my. I remember the guy I bought it off of telling me the dealer has to rotate the tires because of it and its need for the tool.
Today it was claiming it was the LR not getting a signal.
The concept of it is awesome, but if they keep going bad, that's a pain.
