What kind of brakes should I buy?

Looking to replace the brakes on my 04 Grand Prix GT. I'm going to be replacing the rotors, pads and calipers. I currently have black GXP rims and my car is red. I am wanting it to look good and am not looking for the cheapest parts. Just wanted some input on which brand of parts and what you guys have on your cars. Please let me know. Thanks

I love stoptech ceramic pads. Are you looking to do a caliper upgrade since you are replacing everything? What do you want out of your braking system?

I have Hawk HPS pads on mine courtesy of the previous owner. When I toast them I'll probably go for a lifetime warranty duralast gold. Either that or upgrade to F-body brakes

For brakes and rotors I would defiantly get brakemotives from ebay. They are really good. I installed them today did the break in procedure and I am very impressed with the results. Plus they look awesome as well.

Here is the link to to the listing as well as a video summarizing the brakes.

I've found their pad/rotor combo to be noisy in the rear, thought I needed new wheel bearings, but I like them. Normal stopping power is like stock, hard braking is way more powerful than stock.

I'v had good luck with Napa ceramic pads and their blank rotors. However, I just did the breaks on my wife's civic Si with perfect stop ceramic pads and Extreme Stop drilled and slotted rotors from Hotspot Autoparts. Made a noticeable difference and she hasn't warped them yet.
