2001 sunfire gtp



Pretty sure there is another one of these down in the London area, he used to post about it on the OQCGP board a year or so ago.
Was a pretty quick little car for what it was IIRC.even had some time slips from Sparta posted at the time.
Sunfire is def not my favourite but it's still a Pontiac and def. a cool swap.
Too bad I never seem to get any 3800 guys in my area...no matter what platform the motor is in. I'd love to have some one to help out on 3800 stuff and just shoot the BS with locally.
 
lol motor is too ****ed to fix anyways, i get a fresh start on my own build, i dont care about body wise, guy had over 11,000 into the car, i stole it, biggest thing people always say is oh you didnt build it, but atleast i know what im doing if i have to, and now i get to prove it.

I might be doing a full dropout of my 01 GTP with 174kms on it, here within the next little while. Idk if you'd be interested in that or not, depending on price....
 
im in chalk river ( near petawawa) i got a motor in toronto im picking up monday, $200 needs heads and a supercharger, was rebuilt 80,xxx ago seems like a good deal i can do my cam etc as i build, instead of getting a jy motor then tearing it apart, half the work is already done for me :p
 
Funny how all the Ontario guys came into this thread. I live in St Thomas ontario, just bought a house there.
I like the sunflower.. lose the Wing and paint the hood the same color as the body and I think it would be much better.
I used to own a 2 door black sunflower g.t with 2.4l and 5 speed. Even with the mods I have on my impala I think it would keep up pretty good.

Yeah for sure man. Maybe sometime. You're about 2hours or so from me. Like i said, I was all around your area the other day. Through Chalk River, Through Deep River. Was across the Swisha Bridge into the land of the french for a few min lol Shoulda went and got some poutine....

Hell, At one point, I was only 100kms out of North Bay lol I coulda just done one big loop around the park if I wanted to. Some pretty nice country out in that area
 
lol dont go to quebec for poutine, if you want good fkin poutine stop at the tree top in chalk river, smells greasy but you cant beat it, best drunk poutine ever

dude. no word of a lie... that's the place my dad's been eating at for breakfast and dinner for about the last month ahahah always talking about the good food in that place. He's been staying at the Pine Hotel in Deep River.
