Have a 2002 Bonneville SSEi with 48,000 miles I picked up in North Carolina last year. Going to become my daily driver while my kids go to college.

Installing
  • 2.25" Hybrid phenolic/aluminum Intercooler
  • Yella Terra Rockers 1.9 with springs and push rods
  • Ported rear exhuast manifold (hand ported by me)
  • Gen 5 supercharger milled 0.180" off bottom for more hood clearance
  • modular hub and pulley
  • ZZP front exhauststainless plog
  • 1992 VW Golf radiator (huge front area w/ extremely high finns per inch)
  • Bosch intercooler Pump
  • Modified Fuel Rails
  • Lower intake with gasket matching by me
  • Throttle body adapter gen 5 to stock L67

Upside down throttle body and adapter.

Milled about 1/4" off of the now top side of adapter for more clearance.

Cheesy air filter is temp.
 


Bonneville lower mounts are marshmallows. I replaced with the buggiest energy suspension sway bar link I could find.

Didn't realize the front tranny mount was bad till today. It was letting the engine rock up a lot. I have a couple of rub marks on the underside of hood because of it.
 
I love your work! I will be buying myself one of your intercoolers for xmas! Would you please show how you mounted the Volkswagen radiator and did the tubing and pump? Looking forward to seeing that as the Bonneville doesn't have that much room up front.
 
I will be listing all the part numbers for the 90 degree molded end hoses, plastic fittings, radiator, etc....

VW radiator is $65 and has great fins per inch. Will have this week.

Car running with the intercooler on but without FMHE with a 3.4 pulley. Can't wait for the intercooler to be operational.

Yes keep us updated. I'm considering piecing a IC setup together in the future and would love to do it without spending a bunch of money and by using the vw radiator.
 
Awesome. My favorite part is the fact that it doesn't have headers. Completely serious. You going to take this to the track and see what it runs? Also curious about the rails. You make them?
