Driving my car yesterday night i notice my car couldnt shift to the next gear so i baby it and out of nowhere she just started revving no shift just revving so i pulled over asap popped the hood to see what was the problem started the car again put it in drive the car was fine... then 10 secs later it did the same thing wtf? High revs with no shifting so i pulled over got the car towed to my house for further inspection my question is could it be my trans is kicked the bucket? Need a new flexplate? I'll visually inspect the car tomorrow i just want some of you guys opinions about it just happen out of no where thanks here is a vid of the noise

Also like to note when i go to the bottom of the car you can hear more of the noise by trans, starter area thats why im thinking its the flexplate..

I hear huge exhaust leaks. Also, to test the flexplate, remove plastic instpection cover and remover the bolts to the torque converter, and slide the converter away from the flexplate (should move about 1/4), tap the flexplate with a wrench, if it rings, it is good, if it has a dull thud sound when tapped it is broken.

Exhaust is loud no mufflers smh lol that what you might notice.. i'll test it when i get hm.. if the flexplate is trash easy replacement

Based on the symptoms, you have a ton of stuff in the pan. What happens when you turn it off is all the stuff falls back into the pan. When you start it and put it in gear it all gets picked up, works for a moment until the filter clogs then you loose pressure and w/o fluid you have no workie.

Ahhhh gotcha simple fix then? Replace filter and drop the pan i'll check if it needs fluid if so i'll replace after i drop the pan and replace the gasket

You bet. I found it to be a super easy fix. I dropped the pan and found this

If you think that is fixed with just a pan drop...you are in for a large wake up call.

Always looking for the simple fix.. lol who wouldnt? but yeah guess either rebuild or grab a new one

Details on the built trans?

03 Hardened 4th Clutch Gear Shaft
Sonnax Valve Body
Shift kit
Trans cooler (if it comes in the mail quick enough if not i'll install afterwards)

Trans has 3k on it so it should be durable

Thats the transmission that came in the red car? Didnt think that trans had many miles on it?

It did but it was rebuilt about 20k ago from the owner dont know how true but its nuked so f**k it

Depending on how it was rebuilt, and what parts were used, I don't know if I'd consider that built. I don't know if it'll stand up to the 3.0\e85 setup...for long at least.

Youre right booba and honestly im not really gonna rag on this setup knowing the stress it will go through but for now this is my setup until im ready to do a full rebuild when my funds allow

If has the hardened chains and you have a tune for higher pressure it'll help, but you're gonna want a 7\8 chain soon.

Exactly what i was thinking im gonna need it soon but cash is tight and i need a trans.. i REALLY want a 1"Gmr chain but cash is tight for car mods.. but eventually ima scrap the money and grab one

Did you get any closer pictures? You say 4th is in the pan, but I thought I saw a couple needle bearings. That would be a bad diff typically.
