Well I sold my 2006 GT a while ago.. Miles were getting up there and the price it would take to make it a 12 second car with suspension, trans, motor upgrades etc, I just wanted to sell it while it still had some value.. Sold it, and 6 months later finally found a replacement. 01 ws6 w/ 114k miles 8/10 exterior 9/10 interior for $1000 more than I sold the GP for.. SO I actually did pretty good in that aspect..

As for now , just looking for a few simple bolt on mods, trans cooler, etc as well as getting all maintenance done, to have it ready to go for next spring

Fun car so far, and is actually more comfortable than I thought it would be. :)

Only thing that really bothers me is the clear coat flaking off on the headlight covers a bit.. Ill get a few estimates, as well and a re spray of the front bumper cover as well, but other than that, shes good to go..

Just did a good detail wash, claybar and a few coats of race glaze polish, and looks pretty good for a 13 yr old car from northern Minnesota :)

Damn nice grab for just a little more than the gp, sounds like a good choice to me!

Sure glad its not another gp guy turned pony car on us!! Lol

NEVER lol... although a 03-04 cobra for under 10K would have really temped me lol.. Nice fun car, pulls hard, just needs to open up a bit.. Buying it, registering it, insuring it, and catching up on all maintenance/fluids etc is enough out of pocket this year , haha.. Once the snow flies , its all snowmobiles , so it will take my mind off it for a few months :)

I would be all about this trade up IF you had gotten the 6 speed...

Yea, i wish it was sometimes, but then again where I live ( DUluth MN ) its nothing but hills , and hills, and steep hills, and more hills... Not that it bothers me, as Ive lived here almost my whole life, but it gets to be more of an annoyance than anything .. also with a 4l80e trans swap, it wuld be pretty bulletproof til about 600 whp.. AND the girlfriend can drive it, lol.. SHe doesnt like manuals, nor did she really like this "batmobile" like car, but after she drove it, I had to pry her out of the seat

ALso I will say , with basic mods ( head, cam, headers/exhaust, intake and tune w a 3200-3600 stall ) I believe it will be more fun to drive, and likely get better track times, especially w/ the 60' , well at least with me driving lol

Josh is just mad that auto cars are faster than the six speed he'll buy :)

Love me an NBM WS6. Can't wait for moar mods.

Yea its gonna be a good learning experience for me.. I am basically coming from a background in tuner cars.. My fully built SRT4 I sold a few years back was a rocket, and was much easier and cheaper to mod than a LSx.. I have alot of work to do to get this thing into the 11s, but , you gotta start somewhere :D

That good sir is possibly one of the dumbest things I have read all day...

manuals are SOOO much more fun to drive.. At least as a toy and not a DD.
This, the 6 speed in my moms TA is fun. But I would never DD a stick unless I had too.

For the most part, the rear end sucks, so unless i go w a moser fab 9" or something, Id be worried to lauch it alot. most header, exhaust intake, setups are running 12.6-12.8 with a descent 60'.. I just meant to get over the hump will be a pretty penny... As long as I can run 11.5 I dont care. Because our tracks require a cage faster than that, and I dont wanna go there
