• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Former (no, not ex) Marine (1/9- The Walking Dead; 2/4- Magnificent Bastards) current college student, studying for ATC (Air Traffic Controller). Just bought myself a "moderately" used Pontiac Grand Prix 99' GT, planning to accessorize then performance mod it as i work out the finances. I've previously own a BMW M5; (which was ALOT easier to mod, as I've spent about 4 days reading these forums before I decided to join, lol.); and this is my first domestic i've decided to mod but is also now my DD from flipping the Beemer. Some mods look difficult, and since i dont live in a house with a garage, maybe difficult to find a place to do em, but im up for the challenge. :th_king-evil: Hope to keep a mostly stock/sleeper look, and may look for a NYC/SW Florida Pontiac Chapter, as im usually traveling between the two. I like the community feel you guys have here, really feels more like "the Corps", heh. Keep up the good work and the mod posts guys, I'll be checkin em every now n then for some ideas. =] :D

Thanks. and yeh, the M5 was my baby... twas a sweet ride... but, time to let go of the past... and mod this GT to hell >=-D ALOT of cometics I'd like done to it, leaving it with a stock look, with a few trinkets inside... heh... J/W has anyone done a "Knightrider" type LED setup in the front of their GP's yet, or even engine bay lights? Was lookin through and havent found any... sounds Rice ish, but with some Chrome in there, would add some nice light throw-off effects at night from behind the grills =-D

I have seen led's behind the grills. When I used to hit the car shows all the time, I had strobes under the hood. That's about it though.

Welcome to the forums! you'll come to find modifications will cost a fraction of what the M5's were.

hope you have fun!!

Welcome to the community, how did you flip the beamer?

Racing on I-75 Northbound from Ft Misery to Tampa... I think i explained it somewhere else on here... but the short version. Racin my uncles GT2 Porsche... got onto I-75, 2 18 Rigs, far right n mid lane, so i cut across from ramp to far left lane, went to light my cigg, n change an ipod song, glance down, look back up, see guardrail, n went right up it. It basically launched me and flipped me over onto my back, was REALLY unexpected, and yet, was better than a rollercoaster. =-\
