My Cheap A$$ Buys an 05 Grand Prix

Picked up an 05 Grand Prix a few weeks ago for dirt cheap of course.

Running Cost of Repairs:
Car-800.00
Driver side frame piece-25.00
Driver Headlight- 28.00
Radiator Saddle Brace Bar-5.00

Got it for 800 dollars.
Came with free accident damage.

So I went to the junkyard and got a structural piece to replace the old mangled "frame" corner on the car.

Here's what the damage looks like with the hood open. Surprisingly the radiator holds pressure. Car vibrates like hell under acceleration at over 40 tho. Hopefully once the radiator saddle is straight and the dog bones pull the engine back straight that issue disappears.

Cut the old mangled corner out.

And in with the new piece. Who the hell needs a welder when you've got duct tape!

138,000 miles. I figured it's not a bad deal for 800 will probably cost about 300 to fix it up to looking like new. That's including putting metal LIM gaskets and elbows on it.

So 1100 for a 2005 GP w/ decent miles I figured I couldn't go wrong. It even had a set of 4 matching tires with 85% tread or more. Being a cheap a$$ I have NEVER owned a car with 4 matching tires let alone good ones. lol
