they should be paint matched to the hood. they look plasti-dipped (tell me they aren't).

all in all there is a lot of things happening on this car, all of which distract you from what could be clean lines of the car. in the end there has to be so much less body panel paint color clashing going on. and lowered. and fender stripes removed. and nicer wheels.

but good first shot, i suppose.

damn... Here i was thinking i had a cool car and having a good day and thought, hey! I should post a pic of this car that i love... All the while, un aware of just how un cool my car actually was.

Now i can't even drive down the street without wondering if everyone else thinks im a dork in a ****ty car... Wow. Thanks for opening my eyes to the reality of the situation.

Maybe i should sell it and get a nice car for a change. Lol! NEVER!!! I like my ****ty car! Maybe when I can afford it, I will get a real paint job and make it look "factory" since slightly custom or old school is not "in" anymore... It could also be that in my broke ass ways being low budget and all, i have really bad taste in color schemes on cars lol.

Sorry to let you guys down. i will try harder next time i swear!

Most of that was sarcasm, but not all. I do want to get it pro painted some day. Instead of my top of the line rattle can jobber.

PS, i will probably use "plastidip" just to cover it all and see what she will look like all white like you guys think would look best. Ill post another ****ty pic at that time so you can give me a little more constructive criticism. No sarcasm. Except the ****ty pic part lol.
 
everyone has their own tastes, i'm not knocking your style.

just trying to give a pointer here or there to help you along into what i consider a nice looking car. ;)

Thank you Russ. Thats what I thought when I did it like that. Now im thinking about changing it to look like everyone elses white GP... Wouldnt it be funny if I made it all white with no contrast and someone says, "Dude, you should put some racing stripes or some black contrast somewhere. That would look real good"

Id give up at that point lol.
 


the roof rails, fender stripes, and the front/rear facias being black are fine.

i think the hood scoops, side skirts, and sides of the front/rear bumper are too much.

Ill do some white plasti dip and cover that stuff up this weekend or next to see if it looks better just the way you stated, cause honestly. I thought the same thing when i first did it.

I'll never lower mine and I think it looks pretty tough with the cobra wheels on it, hood selection, paint and vinyl, but the minute I post photos, someone will tell me it's a turd. Do what you want, man. It's your ride.

One of the moderators, GMR, has seen my GP, so I can prove it exists.

I actually like the side skirts and bumper sides being black...it's not broken up - a clean line down the lower part of the vehicle. I'm not a big fan of the fender hashes, and would prefer the heat extractors matching the hood, but other than that - looks good. Very clean.

Also not a big fan of those wheels, but whatever floats yer boat...
