LED Lighting



Not any that I've come across. Just don't go out and buy the biggest 194 bulb that you can or you may have issues.
 
For floor lights I just used 4 red 12in LED strips and ran power from the inside fuse panel with a fuse tap. Then hooked up 2 switches for turning on and off the front and rears separately. No need to have light in the rear if no one uses it. IMO. Love them alot and get lots of compliments.

The LED strips are easy to get and tap into somewhere, but unless you buy a little kit with a remote, how did you get switches to turn them on and off? I only want mine on when I'm driving, when I open the car I just want my bright LED's shining.
 


I used some on/ off switches that I got at Farm and Fleet. They were red LED to show when they were on. The switch will be power/ acc/ and ground. Power is where you will bring in your 12v power wire. Then from the Acc on the switch you will run the power to the LED strip(s). You will then ground both grounds (-) on the light and the strip to a grounding spot. Then you can switch them on and off freely.

If you hook them up to 12v power that is only on after you start the car then they will be able to turn on and off while you're driving. They will also automatically shut off when the car is turned off so when you open the door they will be off and your other interior LEDs will come on. Anytime you open the door your interior LEDs will come on. The only time that both will be on is if you open the door with the car running. If that bothers you then you may have to hook up some sort of relay to it. Im not fussy so I just let it be that way. Its not often I leave the car running and have the door open and when I do its not a huge deal anyway. The white I have overpowers the red strips.
