A product that actually works

Have you seen " WIPE NEW " advertised on tv? Says it restores interior and exterior vinyl as well as restores head lights ? Well I had one head light so badly oxidized it was like it was burned out. Want to wait til I get the paint done to buy new ones so saw this at Walmart and decided to try it. Took less than 5 minutes, no hard scrubbing no sanding and it looks brand new. So if you have lights that are faded spend $15 on this and put the money for new lights somewhere else in your car.

seen that on tv, my gmc had all that dull plastic bumper stuff. turtle wax ice made it look better but dont last long, maybe a few months.

wonder if it really lasts 100 washes too. same goes for the tire shine they sell now.

It was rated well in consumer reports. I heard it has a strong smell to it.

My personal favorite trim product is wolfgang exterior trim sealant. Lasts 3-4 months.

I'm currently testing out the new Turtle Wax Jet Black Black Endura Shine trim coating to see how long it lasts. The Turtle Wax Jet Black Black Endura Shine tire coating lasted 8 weeks. So hopefully the trim coating lasts just as long.

This tire coating that you are talking about. It lasted you 8 weeks? Does that mean it looked black and wet for 8 weeks? I have never had any luck with those claims. I usually just keep applying meguiars tire shine.

Yup. Towards the end it started to fade. But in that time all I did was use car wash soap and water with a Mothers wheel brush to remove any dirt build up. I could have reapplied another coat and be good but I am trying something else different. PM me if you want to know the exact one I got. Do not get the black tire coat.

For trim I really like to use Adams super VRT as it restores the look of vinyl, rubber, and trim to the OEM dark look and protects it from fading with SPF 15 protection. I would give that a try if you havent heard of it

It's a good product I own it as well. I just did a trim test comparing it to Mothers Back to Black, Meguiar's Ultimate Black, Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant, Meguiar's Plastic & Vinyl Coating. Wolfgang blew them all away. I will let you guys know how the Turtle Wax trim product works.
