Looking into a 2006 Grand Prix with 150k miles for $1800. Thoughts?

Looks okay but that pic could be old. Definetly take a look at it and test drive it. $1800 isn't too bad either. Does it have ABS? Just Curious.

He didn't even know what the year of the car was that he was selling. I asked him about it and he goes "Damn, for some reason I thought it was an 06', sorry." I'm still going to look at it but as of right now, with the pictures he sent me, doesn't look too good.

I would personally be cautious about buying a car from someone who is that incompetent. Claiming a different generation of car and not even real pictures. You could still take a look but be I'd be very cautious. I knew that deal seemed to good to be true!

Would you believe that a buddy and I nabbed this 2004 GT with 121K miles for $1500?

Right.. some deals are good. And it also came with stock rims.

Yup they exist, got my 2002 gtp with 95,000 on it for 1700. Flawless minus an exhaust leak and a broken coolant elbow.

Our family has a 2-man shop that is trustworthy and I've found another shop that I trust. Other than those 2 outfits I would not have work done on my car on my own dime.I think I have trust issues.
