Yeah those brakes are pretty crusty, my fronts weren't too bad but my rears were. Fresh paints looks good especially since torque stars show a lot of the caliper/rotor

And I got new tires, don't have those symmetrys anymore

Build a (beer) bong or something with those elbows, don't put them on anybody's car!

I like white letters too! I figured that would be a GPF abominable sin though. A retro-grade. If there was just some tires out there without ribbed sidewalls ... I can't stand those.

My GTP has those Coopers up front, and for now has one Michelin and one General out back. Using up wreck leftovers. All ugly but with lots of tread and all are directional rain tires in the correct size.

Off to poke around the paint shelf in the garage....
 
The elbows are for the orings if my metal ones start to leak or if my moms need replacing. And then tstat gasket it just gonna sit on the shelf.

Changed my oil with Mobil 1 and a napa gold filter, re-routed my plug wires under the supercharger snout, fixed 2 broken hangers on my exhaust along with the heat shield above the cat, and washed it. I think my exhaust is about shot, 230K and it's all original.
 
Andd after starting at about 11 o clock shes finally done and im amazed how good it looks. Black Box was so worth the money, shame one drive down the rosd and its ruines but because I worked so hard my grandpa is letting it been a garage queen tonight next to the other garage queen.

Yeah I don't have any masking tape, sooo, cleanup with thinner maybe before wheel? Nasty wheel backside complete with grease globs. Workin on it.

Your car really does look amazingly better. Nice that its an 02. I see those tiny fade spots, now is the time to get some paint over them so they don't worsen so quickly.

every time some one is looking for pads, im like f bodys lol F stock brakes, even new, like new stock rotors and pads, they fail to compare to the stopping power of F body brakes.
 


Clay just wax it the day before you head up thats what im doing, I got a bottle of some quick detailer thats not the black tinted but not like it matters. Im bringing quick detailer, bunch of microfibers, tire wet stuff, armoral wipes.

Thanks Scotty, if I drive too fast the deer like to jump out plus one of the roads is a washboard.
