Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Nope doesn't stink so one must have sprayed in the neighborhood last night and the neighbors like to smoke weed so that coulda been it but no damage no skunk It must have been a raccoon I blasted

:th_laugh-lol3: ! I was out blazin ol hwy 68 last night in Grape, never did find the polecat hmm. Two possums tried but the 69GP ain't low so no worries.

Speaking of low. How long do the stock struts last for?

If yer talkin stock struts on a 97-03 GP, I'd have to say 180K on fronts (including mounts) before they become noisy with normal usage. Over 200K on rears. But after the originals have 50K or more, ride quality definitely declines although not too fast. Anything over 100K is hurting your ride quality for sure. Handling probably begins to suffer much sooner. Just my opinion.

If yer talkin ride height as far as maybe using old springs for lowering ... i probably have some pics that show how much sag after how many miles, from about 120-200K. Rears sag first for sure.

I'm at 72k and my roads are horrrrible I think I am beginning to feel a decline and obviously if I get new struts I'll get adjustables and go low on ssc springs. Along with mount spacers so it's done right obviously but I assume that can probably wait till next summer

yeah its wierd, with struts its harder to say when "its bad" than with shocks. A major downfall of front wheel drive is the ride, thats one reason I keep a full framer. At 72K you aren't getting posh ride quality but I don't think the OE struts will give you any real trouble before you get to em next year.
